About Working At Digital Days

Digital Days® is located in the dynamic and artistic loft environment of the Complexe du Canal Lachine and overlooks the Lachine Canal. Employees enjoy easy access to the bike path for biking and roller blading. A restaurant at the center of our building sports a courtyard terrace and a Friday barbeque during the summer months.

Network Operations

Working with the latest technology, employees design and deploy networks, migrate legacy systems, and maintain internet architecture and hardware both onsite and remotely. Full working knowledge of server platforms such as FreeBSD, Linux (RedHat & Gentoo), and Microsoft® Windows 2000 & 2003 Server are a must. Intimate knowledge of managed switches, routers, firewalls, IDS systems, DNS services and mail services are a plus.

Software & Web Development

Programming candidates must be proficient in ASP, ASP .NET, Visual Studio 6, Visual Studio .NET, and SQL. Knowledge of PHP, Coldfusion, JavaScript, and ActionScript are a plus as is experience with ActionScript for projects that include working with graphic artists in Flash MX.

Artistic candidates must have experience using Macromedia products (such as Dreamweaver MX and Flash MX), Adobe products (such as Photoshop 7.0) and a working knowledge of Javascript. Artistic, rather than technical talent, is heavily favoured.

Digital Days has had the pleasure of offering networking and software students from local technical colleges and Universities stages within our organization. We look forward to continuing our role in introducing students to the real-world environment of managed IT services.
